The Town’s Logo

The Central Core:
This part of the logo belonged to the Canadian International Paper Company who owned the mill and the town.
The Trees :
A renewable natural resource.
The Water and falls :
A source of life, energy and transportation, a necessity for growth.
The circle :
A symbol of continuity, a never ending cycle.
Town of Temiscaming :
The name appears when CIP turns the « Company Town » over to the « Town of Temiscaming ».
« Long live the forest » :
The slogan reminds us that the Town’s economy is dependent upon the forest which is also a major source of recreation.
