Municipal inspector

The municipal inspector is the officer responsible for implementing and administrating various bylaws and issues permits and certificates. He directs the town planning department; he is responsible of the town planning and of the quality of the drinking water.

So, he is the person to contact for your renovations, construction or landscaping plans in order to assess whether the works will be in compliance and whether it will have an impact on your neighbours’ properties.

The town of Temiscaming is concerned about preserving the quality of the environment for its citizens. Therefore, she asks that you respect the standards that are established, precisely to ensure that you will not cause any harm to your environment while at the same time protecting your property and your investment.
