Public Works

Mr. Jean-Philipe Côté, Public Works Director is responsible for the Town of Témiscaming’s Public Works Department.

He is in charge of a team of five permanent day labourers and two short-term employees who are assigned to roads winter maintenance. 

The following outlines the major functions of the Public Works Department:

• Manage the water supply system and drinking water quality 
• Manage the sewer system
• Road network, road signs and snow removal activities
• Street lighting
• Collection of municipal waste, recyclable waste and management of the municipal dump site
• Manage the cemetery and inhumation activities
