Dottori Park
Dottori Park is situated on Kipawa Rd. on the shores of Lake Temiscamingue in front of Tembec’s industrial complex. It’s an ideal place for a walk or a picnic.
Irwin Park (Baseball Field)
Located on Kipawa Road at the corner of the bypass at the southern entrance of the town, this sporting park regroups a baseball field, a soccer field and a tennis court. The name “Parc Irwin” was given in honour of Sir William “Bill” Irwin, Témiscaming Mayor from 1956 to 1963. A monument and a commemorative plaque were set-up in his honour.
The Baseball Field is used for the adults’, the teenagers’ and the minors’ soft–ball league as well as the “T-Ball” league. The infield is covered with stone dust and the outfield with grass. There is also some lighting for evening games as well as two shelters; one for each team.
The tennis court gathers two grounds with an asphalted surface; the whole is enclosed and lit.
The soccer field does not have the regulated dimensions but it accommodates friendly soccer matches.
Moreover, the “Témiscaming Youth Center” offers the service of an on site canteen. There is also an accessible water fountain as well as toilets to accommodate the sportsmen and their spectators.
Letang Skating Rink
Situated at the junction of rue des Bouleaux and 2nd avenue, we can also access the rink from rue de la Montagne.
A shelter is also available during the hours of operation which has sanitary facilities as a room to dress oneself and to warm up.
