Recycling and garbage bins have arrived.
RESIDENTIAL
The Town asks owners of single family residences and apartments to collect their bins at the arena (back entrance) from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Monday to Friday starting on June 27, 2007 with the exception of Monday July 2nd . The cost of each 360 litre bin is $80.00 (taxes included) and you must pay by cash or cheque upon pickup.
One (1) green bin for garbage and one (1) blue bin for recycling are required for each residence. For apartments, a minimum of one (1) green bin (garbage) and one (1) blue bin for recycling are required for each 2 apartments.
Property owners who have not picked up their bins before July 12th, 2007 will have them delivered directly to their home in the following weeks. The cost of the bins will then be $ 90 each (taxes included) per 360 litre bin, they will be billed directly to the property owners and will be payable before December 31st, 2007.
The collection of recyclables is scheduled for the beginning of September, therefore we ask that you not use the blue recycling bins until then. However, you may use the green garbage bins immediately.
INDUSTRIES, BUSINESSES, INSTITUTIONS AND BUILDINGS WITH 6 APARTMENTS OR MORE
A representative from the Town will communicate with you in the next few weeks in order to determine the type and the number of bins that you will require for your recycling and garbage needs. In addition to 360 litre bins, 1100 litre bins will be available.

Additional information will be transmitted by way of the Contact or Channel 13 confirming the date when the collections begin, the schedule regarding collections as well as all pertinent information concerning recyclables.
