Every year, the Town of Témiscaming does a spring cleanup. Usually, it last about two weeks in the urban sector. The town cleans-up the roads, sidewalks, parks and walking path.
The Town solicits the cooperation of the citizens in order to complement the cleaning operations.
NOTICE - STREET SWEEPING MAY 2023
You can contribute by doing the following simple actions:
- Cleanup your yard before the mechanic sweeper goes by in order for the sweeper to pick-up rocks and sand in the street. It is important not to make any small piles; the sweeper will not be able to pick them up efficiently;
- Avoid parking in the street during the cleanup;
- Clear the road of any obstacles for the mechanic sweeper: basketball net, hockey nets, bins, etc.;
- Pick-up litter in the parks and pathways.
