The Town's logo
The Central Core:
This part of the logo belonged to the Canadian International Paper Company who owned the mill and the town.
A renewable natural resource.
The Water and fall:
A source of life, energy and transportation, a necessity for growth.
A symbol of continuity, a never ending cycle.
Town of Témiscaming:
The name appears when CIP turns the « Company Town » over to the «Town of Témiscaming».
Vive la forêt « Long live the forest»:
The slogan reminds us that the Town’s economy is dependent upon the forest which is also a major source of recreation.
