Mission of the Passe du Long-Sault Corporation

The mission of the Passe du Long-Sault Corporation is to play a driving role in the economic and entrepreneurial development of the territory by creating an environment that fosters the establishment, growth, and long-term success of businesses.

As an organization currently undergoing structuring, the Corporation acts as a strategic lever for development by relying on proactive, innovative, and rigorous management of its activities. It is notably the owner of an industrial building located at 200 de la Carrière Street, dedicated to the rental of industrial and commercial spaces. This building includes seven (7) rental units, three (3) of which are currently available, offering immediate potential to attract new businesses and support local economic expansion.

Through the leadership of its General Management, the Corporation aims to maximize the value of its assets, develop lasting partnerships, structure high-impact initiatives, and contribute concretely to job creation, investment, and the economic vitality of the community.

The Corporation's mission is based on a vision of autonomy, professionalization, and sustainable development, making the position of General Manager a key strategic role to build, structure, and grow an organization destined to play a central role in the economic future of the community.

Board Members of the Corporation

The Corporation is governed by a Board Members composed of five (5) members appointed by resolution of the Town of Temiscaming. The members are appointed as follows:

• Two (2) members of the Municipal Council of the Town of Temiscaming;
• Two (2) representatives of the Town of Temiscaming;
• One (1) citizen of the Town of Temiscaming.
