Formerly known as the Comité de relance - Ville de Témiscaming (1992-1994), Corporation Passe du Long-Sault Inc. began operations on December 20, 1994.

The corporation's mandate is to :
  • Encourage the industrial, commercial and economic expansion of the Town of Temiscaming;
  • Promote tourism and tourist activities in the Town of Temiscaming;
  • Support the Town of Temiscaming in maximizing its economic and tourism benefits.

The corporation is governed by a Board of Administrators composed of five (5) members appointed by a resolution of the Town of Témiscaming. The administrators are appointed as follows:
  • Two (2) members of the Town Council of the Town of Temiscaming;
  • Two (2) representatives of the Town of Temiscaming;
  • One (1) citizen of the Town of Temiscaming.
