Bulky Items
A bulky item is a residual material of domestic origin that is generally too large to be put in one of the rolling bins collected by the MRC.
The Town of Temiscaming encourages citizens to use the ecocentre service to dispose of bulky items that cannot be reused. They can then be recovered or recycled appropriately.
DISPOSE OF YOUR BULKY ITEMS IN A SAFE AND RESPONSIBLE MANNER
A household item that is too big to fit in the wheeled bin?
- SELL IT: Make something new out of something old! Think about garage sales or online.
- DONATE IT: Make others happy! Think of the community organizations.
- FIX IT: Save money! Consider fixing rather than replacing.
- RECYCLE IT : It is in bad condition and not repairable? Think of the Ecocentres. Your unwanted goods will be treated in an environmentally safe way and the valuable materials will be recycled.
