Award-winning singer-songwriter Mia Kelly is making her mark on the international folk scene with a distinctive sound that blends folk, rock, and blues. Weaving stories and songs in both French and English, the young artist from Gatineau stands out for her poetic songwriting and a voice that is both powerful and nuanced.
Her new album, Big Time Roller Coaster Feeling, produced by Connor Seidel (Charlotte Cardin, Half Moon Run, Bobby Bazini), celebrates life's bright and joyful moments while also shining a light on its darker sides. It is a free-spirited and vibrant work, like running through a sunlit field with arms wide open.
With her first two albums, Garden Through The War (2022) and To Be Clear (2024), Mia Kelly quickly established herself on the international stage, touring across Canada, Australia, and the United Kingdom. She has also shared the stage with renowned artists such as Bobby Bazini, The Franklin Electric, Good Lovelies, and Kim Churchill.
