Policy on Grants, Sponsorships, and In-Kind Contributions
The Town of Temiscaming places the well-being of its population at the heart of its priorities. Through this policy, it aims to establish clear evaluation parameters and ensure fairness in the review of requests for financial assistance, fee waivers, or material support.
This policy applies to non-profit organizations (NPOs) operating in the recreational (leisure and sports), cultural, social, and community sectors. It serves as a decision-making tool for evaluating requests for financial and material support submitted by various organizations.
The policy outlines the objectives, criteria, and areas of intervention related to financial and material support. It also specifies the requirements, evaluation criteria, and the required application form.
This policy is intended to support organizations that do not already have access to municipal assistance and to prevent duplication of municipal investments in certain activities. It is understood that the assistance granted under this policy is limited to the amount allocated annually by the municipal council following the adoption of its budget.
The application form (Appendix A) must be sent to ville.temiscaming@temiscaming.net
