OUTDOOR POOL SAFETY | REGULATIONS TO FOLLOW
All residential outdoor pools capable of holding 60 cm (24 inches) of water or more are subject to the Residential Swimming Pool Safety Regulation, regardless of their installation date. If your pool was installed before November 1, 2010, and previously qualified for an exemption, you have until September 30, 2025, to bring your installation up to code. If it was installed after that date, it must already comply with the current rules.
