DAYLIGHT SAVING TIME | A SIMPLE ACTION THAT CAN SAVE LIVES

DAYLIGHT SAVING TIME | A SIMPLE ACTION THAT CAN SAVE LIVES

During the night of March 7 to 8, we move to daylight saving time.
The time change is an easy reminder to take an essential safety step at home.

Take a moment to:
✔ Check that your smoke alarms are working properly
✔ Replace the batteries if needed
✔ Make sure they are properly installed and functioning

✔ Test your smoke alarms at least once a month
✔ Replace batteries at least once a year (or when they beep)
✔ Replace the unit every 10 years

A working smoke alarm can cut the risk of death in a residential fire by half. Just a few minutes can help protect what matters most.

One simple action can make a real difference.
