We would like to inform you that vegetation control work will be carried out near you in the coming months. This work will be carried out by duly authorized personnel who favor environmentally friendly intervention methods in order to keep the vegetation at a safe distance from the wires.
Work near distribution lines
The release of medium voltage wires is a periodic intervention that includes the following work: pruning, deforestation and cutting of trees at risk. These activities are carried out in order to protect the network and limit outages. Normally, trees and branches are responsible for about 40% of unplanned service interruptions. This proportion can be much higher during major weather events.

Finally, we remind you that it is dangerous to approach power lines. You should never attempt to prune or cut‑down a tree that is near the wires yourself.
