Article 7.2 states that for manual watering, hoses need to be equipped with an automatic shut-off. If watering manually, it is always acceptable to water the following:
- Garden
- Vegetable patch
- Flower box
- Planters
- Flower beds
- Tree, and
- Shrubs

Article 7.2.1 states that if you are watering using perforated pipe or removable sprinkler attachments on your hose, it is acceptable to water the following at specified times and dates:
- Lawns
- Hedges
- Trees
- Shrubs, or
- Other plants

For specified times and dates:
If the calendar date is an even number, and your residential address is an even number, you may water using these mechanisms during the hours of 8 p.m. and 11 p.m.

If the calendar date is an uneven number, and your residential address is an odd number, you may water using these mechanisms during the hours of 8 p.m. and 11 p.m.

Article 7.2.1 also states that if you have an automatic sprinkler system, it is permitted to water from 3am to 6am Sundays, Tuesdays and Thursdays.
