Are you installing a new lawn or doing some landscaping this season?
Article 7.2.3 of our municipal bylaw regarding use of potable water mentions that for new lawns, trees and bushes, as well as a new landscaping installation, citizens are permitted to water for 15 days following the installation to ensure it takes root - 20h-23h
For installations of sod, watering is permitted throughout the day of installation, and then between 20h and 23h each day for the remaining 14 days.
Keeping in mind that proof of purchase or payment for work done can be requested by the person responsible for applying this bylaw.
Are you thinking of installing a water fountain or landscaped water basin? According to article 7.6, if so, it is necessary to ensure that the system is equipped with a recirculation system because continuous using of potable water is prohibited.
