Are you installing a new pool or spa? Article 7.3 states that water can be used to fill it up to maintain the structure during installation.
Do you already have a pool or spa? We would like to remind you that it is prohibited to fill your pool/spa between the hours of 6am and 8pm according to article 7.3.
Want to wash your car this summer? Ensure that it is done with a bucket of water and sponge or with a garden hose with an automatic shut-off nozzle.
We would also like to take this opportunity to remind citizens that as per article 7.4, it is prohibited to wash/rinse a sidewalk, patio or exterior wall of the residence outside of the 1st of April and the 15th of May. Such cleaning can be justified during painting, construction, renovation or any landscaping being done given that it is rinsed with a device that is equipped with an automatic shut-off. Article 7.2.4 states that it is prohibited to use watering equipment in such a way that it runs onto neighbouring properties and/or onto the streets.
