The Town of Temiscaming is proud to highlight the contribution of people with disabilities to social, economic, and cultural life.
The objective of this week is to raise awareness and mobilize the entire population of Quebec to become agents of change in their living environment.
This collective mobilization makes it possible to take action to reduce barriers to the social participation of people with disabilities, and to increase their power to act.
In collaboration with the APHTK and Transport adapté du Long-Sault, activities such as a visit to the Temiscaming police station and a training session at the Centre were organized during the Week.
We would also like to thank the Sûreté du Québec, especially Officer Groleau, for his guided tour of the Temiscaming police station.
Together, let's continue to build an inclusive town for all.
