HALLOWEEN | STREET SAFETY

HALLOWEEN | STREET SAFETY

The Town of Temiscaming invites all parents and children to celebrate Halloween in a safe environment during the traditional candy hunt. To make sure everyone has fun while respecting the rules, here are a few practical tips to follow.

* Wear bright clothing with reflective strips.
* Use make-up instead of masks.
* Let your parents know where you're going and when you'll be back.
* Ring doorbells in a group or with an adult, and stay outside houses.
* Walk along one side of the street at a time, without crossing too often.
* Cross at intersections and follow the signs.

Finally, if you must drive, slow down and watch out for children on the road. Be patient and courteous, as they may find it difficult to judge the distance and speed of vehicles. By following these tips, everyone can enjoy a safe and pleasant Halloween!

We wish you a safe and enjoyable evening! Enjoy trick-or-treating and have fun while respecting safety rules.
