YELLOW WATER? IT'S TEMPORARY!
When firefighters respond to a fire, they use hydrants in the area to extinguish the flames. This can sometimes cause temporary disturbances in the water system, leading to yellowish or rusty-colored water in some homes.
What should you do if this happens?
- Let cold water run for a few minutes until it becomes clear again.
- If the issue persists after 24 hours, contact us.
Our firefighters do an incredible job protecting our community! Just like a temporary power outage during a storm, these minor inconveniences are a small price to pay for everyone's safety. Thank you for your patience and understanding!
