HEALTHCARE: COMPLAINTS ARE BEING DOCUMENTED
Several citizens have told us that after submitting a complaint to the CISSSAT, they received a non-admissibility notice.
This is normal.
During the Mayor's Message - Special Edition #1, it was agreed with the CISSSAT that all complaints related to the issues caused by this change would be collected and recorded, even if they are not formally admissible.
Excerpt from the CISSSAT's letter:
'' Please note that from now on, the Office of the Service Quality and Complaints Commissioner will document the concerns it receives from citizens regarding this issue and will submit them to the authorities concerned. ''
Why this matters
Once compiled, these complaints will demonstrate the scale of citizen mobilization and help justify maintaining the North Bay corridor for our healthcare in Ontario.
The CISSSAT's response is therefore consistent with what the Mayor had negotiated with them.
Keep submitting your complaints - every voice counts!
